Barnacle Blenny

Hey guys,

I was recently at the LFS and saw they had gotten in a whole bunch of barnacle blennies.

Anyone know much about these little guys? I really like the way they darted in and out of their barnacles/snail shells and bickered amongst themselves. Considering getting a few for my 40g reef.

I already have a tail spot blenny in there as well as a neon goby and 2 false percs.

Do you think they'd get along with the other blenny? I'm thinking of getting maybe 3-4 of them. Also where is a good place to get barnacles? I've got tons of empty snail shells, but think it'd be cuter if they were in barnacles.

They won't venture out of their barnacle normally. So they should get along with just about anything that doesn't eat them.

Here's a video of the blennies I used to have. Oh, you will want a tank cover because they are skittish little guys and they may jump out(I lost one to carpet suicide).
