Barracuda higher than sump

Barracuda higher than sump

Even after the pump it would have done the same thing. You could have put it right after the discharge. Putting restrictions on the suction side of a pump is asking for trouble.

Ok I finally moved the pump lower than the sump
My question now is can you give me any ideas on how to secure the pump to the stand with the liner in place? Or will the weight of the water and pic hold the pump in place?

The green padding is for sound only

I don't recall ever needing to screw a pump down. Weight of the unit itself ought to hold it in place. BTW, when the time comes to replace the pump, get an Iwaki or PanWorld. I've never had one leak from the volute in over 20 years of running various models.

I have never secured a pump to a stand. If you want to give it a bigger footing you a add a piece of wood under it and screw it to that.
