I would be tempted to make the page background the same offwhite as the background of our logo. Then it would be a less obvious mismatch.

In the long run I think it would be great to add color and photos. Possibly make the logo background transparent and position it over a photo.

And our FB page needs some love.

This was something simple i tossed together. I just grabbed the logo off Facebook. I we have a original file to work o be great. I dont mind adding more just need to know what we want i also had offer to have help from another member. SO lets get the club looking better and get more people back interested into the club. I am willing to take charge and get stuff rolling but need the go ahead.

As far as the Facebook page i have asked and never got access to our page. I have time on my hand to spare and like to put it to use. Just need to know what the club would like to see. Maybe we can have a meeting where we all suggest what like to see. Can talk about it or can get a form together to see where people stand.

The club has kept shrinking in number since i started. People were bringing frags but then things really started going down hill. Not as many frags and not as many pot luck stuff brought. The generous people that have opened there houses have seem to be the ones providing the snacks.

As far as our FB login credentials go, I believe Dragon may have those.

I think it would be appropriate for the club to have a brief discussion at the next meeting about the direction we would like to see our online presence take. BOD, do you think we could take a few minutes for that?

I am grateful for the hospitality and generosity of those who have volunteered to open their homes to us.

In my 10 years or so with the club I have seen the membership and meeting attendance swell and shrink between over 30 and as few as 5. I agree the number of member provided frags and potluck offerings do seem to be dwindling recently.

Another observation I've made is that the club functions better as a living organization with 20 or so active members than it does with 5. More raffle tickets are sold which allows the BOD to bring in more frags from vendors. More people participate in discussions and helping other members. And there is more yummy food and drink at the meetings. All these things encourage member participation and entice new members to join.

Enhancing our social media presences will assist with attracting new members so we can keep our base numbers up.

According to the rules of RC, you mention a pet you gotta post a pic!! This is especially true of a cute pup.
