Ok, I lied. lol... any truth to birdsnest coral being easier? They are so beautiful, but the only frag of it I tried was two months ago ( before the Phosphates were just right) and it did not do well at all. It could also have been that i placed it nearer to the top from the start...

Birdsnests have been a pita for me. Montipora capricornis and any stag type acro. Easiest sps for me. I've sold frag packs to people who had digis RTN on them, but stags survive. I've sold stags to people who have kept them alive in 150 ppm calcium, 25 dKH alkalinity, and ultra low light. Like viewing light only. Those stags out lived leathers that died in such conditions. Did they grow fast and have nice colors? No. Just illustrating how hearty they are

I will definately look for a few stags to add too then. After these first few do well.
