so far I've seen very little, or no information about the batfish, I am looking to eventually buy one but i have no idea how to take care of it, all i know is that it is very sensitive...but to what?

P.S the batfish I am interested in is long, black with bright orange edging, it is ment to trick predators into thinking it is a toxic slug

very difficult to feed and gets large and ugly. also not reef safe at all but not sure if you have a reef or fowlr. id recommend against it personally unless you have a very, very large tank. especially very tall. when i tried one a while back he was eating thawed mussles and clams at the lfs but couldnt get it to eat consistantly at home.

You mean this one Platex pinnatus. A photo of a juvenile I took in mabul in borneo last month. This one is a large juvenile, I saw A few sub adults and adults and they are not suitable for tank life too big.
