Does anybody have any idea what can I use for a wp10 battery back up? Thanks
Plug the AC/DC adapter into a an UPS, like you would use on a PC. The bigger the UPS, the longer the run-time you'll get.
oh i was thinking about that as well, but i read that it sucks, or it does't kick on automatic after the electricity goes out, do you have any input on how good is it? thanks
I don't have any hands on experience. I would think the Jaebo power cell would be better based on what I read. A LFS has it in stock and I was thinking of picking one up to try it out on a WP25. But I haven't made up my mind as yet.
Regarding computer UPS, they won't provide more than a few hours backup. Some will only give you a few minutes, especially if you will run powerheads on them. A $125 TripLite UPS will run for 2:28hr at a 20watt load. The WP10 runs between 6-15 Watt. According to the powercell specs it will run a WP10 for 48 hours on the lowest mode.
