battery backup

I'm going to be purchasing 1 vortech and 2 battery backups. I was wondering if the battery backups came with the cords to connect to each other so I can get the 60 hours backup or do I have to purchase them seperately?

Each battery back up system comes with one cable. Addition cables can be purchased at some retailers or direct from Icecap.

If your goal is to get 60 hours of run time you won't need an extra cable. The only time you need more cables is when you are trying to run two pumps off of one battery which halves your run time.

I just bought my setup, 2 MP40w, and a battery backup, and I think it is silly that IceCap/EcoTech does not include the 2nd cable to connect the 2nd pump to the battery backup. Spend a grip full of cash on the equipment and they still find a way to stick the customer to purchase more pieces for the equipment they just bought.

Why would you want to run two pumps off one battery? You would effectively just halve your run time. It would be more effective to have slightly reduced flow for a longer period of time IMO.

They don't incluce it because not everyone will need it. why charge someone for it when they might not need it. Your retailer could have brought that up when you were placing your order. That way you would have gotten everything you needed at one time.
