battery backup?

Well, I know this doesn't necessarily pertain to you, I live in FL, and hurricanes come every year. So we invested into a cheap $400 generator.

It has plenty out outlets, and all I would need is at the minimum one, for my Koralia, or two, for both my pumps. Meanwhile, we can run lights, fans, a small fridge, etc.

Actually, I'm going to fire it up today to see if it needs anything before the season starts.

Even if you were to get a cheap generator, you could run more things, for a LOT longer than any battery backup, and it costs twice as much. If you have a huge tank, this is the way I'd go, personally. A UPS generally lasts "hours", while a 5 gallon gas can, will run our generator for about 4 days.

Just something to consider.

This is what I have.It will run my sump pump for 5-6 hours..Enough time to get my generator running.
