Bay Area LFS's and BAR info

Hello. I am not exactly new to this hobby, however, I haven't had a lot of corals experience. I have a very established tank that has been running for over four years and I have been quite successful with some mushrooms and fish. It has not been until recently that I have had the time to put into really building a reef. That said, I would love to know of everyone's favorite bay area stores including location. I knew quite a few several years ago, but am finding out many have closed! If there is already a thread with this info, I would be happy to go back and look through it.

Also, I wanted more info on BAR. I have been to the website but almost everything I try to click on gives me an error that the resource can not be found. I had attended a few BARE meetings years ago and am very interetested in becoming a member of BAR.

The original Lucky Goldfish in Oakland is a great destination. I recently visisted the "back room" which is sometimes locked and you have to ask to get in. This is where all the gems are hidden.

I believe LGF is on 23rd and Broadway.

Jen, which links do you get an error on the BAR website? We have a separate forum as well, but on the website we list most of the Bay Area stores.

Dolphin Pet in Campbell is a great place make sure you talk to Tyler he is the resident Coral expert...

APON, all of the links on the left hand side give me that message (About BAR, local resources, Meet... etc) Perhaps it is my browser? I will try a different one later today and see if I am still getting that error.

Where is Fish, Fish, and More fish?

Nope its the room in between the tanks in the back hallways, their is a middle door that opens into ... a whole new world
