Bb

Got a new tank on order and it will be bare bottom but looking to go with a white piece of star board or some thing like that as don't like the look of plain glass bottom.

Only BB i have is my prop tank, but it definitely has both advantages and disadvantages, long as you have enough flow near the bottom to keep detrious from settling, that way it can be picked up by a mech filter or skimmer you should be good, you will still have rock for biological filtration.

Well I'll post a pic in a bit and my bb has the whole bottom covered in coraline algae and looks better than all white sand. IMO. if I ever use sand it'll be blacksand. [/QUOTE]

Let nature somewhat take its course and it'll color up good quickly with good water parameters

I think it makes all corals stand out. It actually looks much sharper and full of coraline now as theses pics aren't the newest. And I cleaned up the mess of corals in front but other than that I think it makes all corals stand out way more. Bad pic cuz its old phone pics.
