Do not forget the ladies with tons of experience.

No problem with not having any frags as this is why I love the auction style meet.

I will share my knowledge but the last creature that picked at my brain got flushed

I'd love to come, but I'm working every Saturday these days. Well, I'm working every day these days, between school and work. This summer should be better, I'm only taking 2 classes, so I should have more life this summer.

Starting to think about moving to hard coral dominant. Currently, half my tank is Pulsing Xenia, Anthelia, and Metallic green star polyp. Just fragged a ton and bought like $500 in different corals locally and online.
Can't wait until some of the weirder, rarer, amazing corals get big enough to frag. By the way, has anybody bought a neon polyp true undata? It looked great in my tank for like 3 days, now it's browning out. Everything else looks happy as can be in my tank. I was thinking it might be some chemical warfare. Running Rox 0.8 carbon though.

Oh, also wanted to offer my skills at setting up a DIY Led setup, and also using and programming a Reef Angel Aquarium Controller. I have a powerful, homemade multi-spectrum Radion inspired led system that has custom dimming, lightning effects, clouds, sunrise and sunset, and moonlights. Oh, and I had UV leds before it was cool :smokin:https://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-prn1/893644_10200745800908417_835066694_o.jpg
Hopefully the link works. Just a picture of my LED design.

Does anyone know how to fix a picture where the camera freaks out and washes everything blue because of my blue LEDs?

Looking forward to this event. This will be a purchase only event for us. All our corals are still growing and trying to fill a 210. There will be 3 total.

Thanks,

Channing

Try "underwater" white balance setting on your camera. It works great on mine.

I'd enjoy chatting with you about your LED build. I did mine (squeezed in 30x5W LEDs into a stock Biocube hood) and had lots of fun doing it. Too bad, I can't run it at more than half power.

If you don't have temperature and fan failure interlocks on your LEDs, then I'd highly recommend them. You must have spent a few Benjamins on LEDs alone, so it makes sense to protect against the inevitable fan failure.

I think Gary deserves a special thanks. He shows up in town, and next thing you know, we have a frag meet. I think last time that happened was like two years ago.

And, we have a flurry of activities on this used-to-be-dormant forum. It seems NewMACS is coming alive again.

So, thanks Gary for opening your house. I am looking forward it. I just hope I can come.

No special thanks needed as I am glad to be involved in the truely addictive hobby :fish2:
