beached softies

I have heard that they can stay out for quite a while. As long as they are kept damp, I would think about 20-30 minutes.
 
I have zenia that is out of water for 30 to 45 minutes with no issues...

Not sure I understand here, why would your corals be exposed during a water change? I can see some sps up high in a tank being exposed during a large water change and even then it would only be for a few minutes
 
I've seen soft corals out of water for an hour or more at low tide...huge colonies of finger leathers...doesn't seem to bother them a bit?
