Bearing replacement intervals?

Has anyone had to replace their bearing yet? What kind of milage should we expect to get out of a one? I ask only because I noticed some play in the shaft during a vinegar bath today.

The wet drive shaft should last a couple of years but it will depend on pump speed and alignment. The faster the pump is run and the less aligned the pump is the more wear will result. Replacement drive shafts can be purchased for $10 from our service department at service@ecotechmarine.com.

Thanks for the reply but what about the bearings? Do they not wear out or are you saying the shaft will wear out before the bearing does?

On all pumps that have shipped for over a year, the bearing is ceramic and never requires replacement.
