Beautiful powder blue tang

Mods if this is in the wrong spot please move!
I have a nice looking hybrid powder blue tang that I would love to go to a big home. He is in a 4x2 120 gal. tank and needs more swimming room. The bigger he gets the more trouble he causes. I think in a big tank he will calm down.
No health issue's to speak of. He did battle ich for a little while but found stray current in the tank and since that has been fixed all is well. He eats anything and everything that can throw at him.
I can meet half way between here and Sac to the north and willing to head as far so as Merced for the right tank. I can also meet in milpitas I need to go to the store anyways.
I love this fish and hate to see him go.
I would like to get $150.00 for him but needs to go to a large tank. (6' at least) 2410814 Abe

He is about 4 to 4 1/2"
This is the best I could do. He is really not happy in my sump and I need to find him a home soon. His color is close to this pic but everything is darker because of stress. Behind his black is a dark blue fading to a bluish gray and he has vertical lines on his sides. They are not extremely noticeable but if you know what he is suppose to look like then you know something is different. Make me an offer that is worth my wild and its yours.

if you really want to sell this fish IMO you're going to have to lower the price a bit bud. powders retail for $60 and everyone from aqua life to exotic currently have them in stock.

just an idea!

I stated to make me an offer already. Yes true a pbt goes for $ 60.00 but my problem is the whole hybrid thing made him $140.00 for me from dd.

I saw this fish and he's awesome looking. The pics do it no justice what-so-ever. IMO it looks a lot better than a standard powder blue tang.

How long have you had him?

Honestly...I'd be happy to pay double the LFS price for a healthy and established PBT or hybrid.

He was the second fish in the tank last April. He is super heathly and is feed 3 times a day with spectrum, formual 1 and 2, flakes from bluezooaquatics all on a timer. When I feel like it I throw in mysis enriched brine and rods food. He is very happy camper for sure.

Hey Minh

I spotted the rare and coveted Unarce elsewhere yesterday. Hmmm, seems like the Unarce sightings are increasing :D

Sorry for hijaaking. Good luck with the powder blue. I'm upgrading from a 170 to 240. When it stabilizes I'd like put a powder blue in. If you haven't sold it by April please PM me.

Karl lurks around with the best of them..............Sang is on his way back in as well ;)

Is that his normal color in the pic or scared, sleeping colors? Any idea what other species it is?

His colors are the same just not as deep. He is very unhappy in my sump with no where to hide. He is a dark blue in front than fades to a nice pale blue and the vertical lines are there just not as noticeable! He is crossed with a Powder Brown. Come on some needs some more Tang in there life!!!!!!!

Very nice looking fish. But if I spent $150 on a tang, I won't have that $150 to build the new dog house that my wife would make me sleep in. LOL

Minh, Brian, and Rob - I do miss the reefers, cause...well...you get used to the kookiness. However, I'm barely into my self-imposed reef ban, and am a few years away from coming back.

reefgeek31 - Sorry to hijack your thread. Really hope you find him a home.
