been treating sailfin tang w/ cupramine for two months

My goodness he's finally clear! The last few days I've been seeing less and less ich spots. last night he just had a few on his fins. This morning he has none. Going to leave the medicine in there for a couple more days. Then I'll do a water change and watch him for a week or so and make sure it doesn't come back. I'm so ready to get these fish back in my 120 gallon

Ok so two days after I posted that he got a little more ich back on his tail.. so Sunday the 2nd of Feb I decided to take the fish out and completely empty the tank and rinse it out and wash the pvc and stuff with hot water. I did not wash the sponge filter or hang on back filter that way it still had beneficial bacteria in it. When I refilled the tank I went ahead and put more cupramine in the water. When I put the fish back into the tank the sailfin tang was clear. Not sure where the ich went but he was clear. Maybe I burnt the ich off haha. While I was off doing something my aerator fell into the bucket and I came back to smoking and the dang thing burning. so glad I didn't kill the poor fish. Anyways he's still clear. I was going to leave cupramine until Sunday then do a water change and leave fish in for one more week before putting into my DT. Would this be enough?
