Roger.
My tunze started beeping intermittently, so I cleaned the pump as usual.

I disassembled impellar assembly, removed the calcium deposit,
soaked into vinegar soluton.

But, it becomes worse, now controller beeps continuously, pump doesn't move at all, my single controller lights are all off.

I have cleaned tunze several times before, every time worked ok.
But I have no idea, what i did wrong this time.

My tunze is 6100 with 7091 controller.

Thanks

I would double check the mechanicals and try running it without the controller. If it still doesn't work you will probably need to send it in.

I will send it to you.

It definitely has something wrong.
When I turn the impellar with my finger,
It feels quite different than before, It is not smooth feeling, something is touching.
There is no sign of visual wear. I checked several times.

This the address that I will use.

Yes, it was sent back to you Wednesday. The single controller had a bad cable and the drive unit had a tight fitting bush bearing.

Roger;
I got the pump today, I noticed it has different impeller, no brake.
Anyway...

I put it back to my aquarium, turned on the power, it alarmed again and it didn't start pumping...

I check the inside, it looks like brand new impeller, bearing, etc.

When I turing on and off the power several time, then it started.

After 3-4 hours run, it alarmed again and stop pumping
If I cycle the power several time, then it resumes pumping.

I' will keep watching the pump, I hope it will not happen again.

Maybe it just had some air inside. I did install the new style drive unit, I test ran it for about 2 hrs with no alarm issues. The controller did not light up and the problem was the cable had a break in it. Let me know, I'll pay return shipping if it still doesn't work but I promise we tested it before we sent it back.

Roger, It still alarming at the random interval, (10 sec. to several hour)
it runs again when I cycled the power 2-3 times.

If I turn off pump for long time, next interval seems to be extended. But I'm not sure.

I think it is matter of adjustment, something fit too tight causing the drive unit jamming.
Is there any place I can adjust?

Single controller works ok.

Pump has been always under the water, I don't see any airbubble except the first time run.

Do you have a friend with a pump? I think the driver may be overly sensitive so I wanted to see if swapping drivers solved the problem.

It might be.

The longest run was the first time run after the pump returned to me.
I turn off the pump last night, I got 2-3 hour run this morning.

When I turn off the pump longer, it will run longer next time before alarm kicks.

I changed the power level, but it doesn't matter.

Actually I open the blue box to see if there is any place for me to adjust the alarm level, but I can't

Unfortunately I don't have a friend to use Tunze in my neighbor.

I will keep watching the pump tomorrow,
then. I will send it back to you next monday.
