Did u read the Marine Depots reviews on that Aquamaxx HOB skimmer?

Yes I did. It came down to reef octopus and aquamaxx. I like how aquamaxx will not spill onto the floor and seems like the more quite of the 2

I was going to get a Deltec HOB five years ago. Called Marine Depot to place the order.

The guy on the phone led me to the Aquamaxx. Marine Depot had run it throw the rigors against all the other HOBs. Boy, I was so happy when I got it. Made like a tank, looks great and skimmers even better. Thankful to this day that he was honest. The Deltec was way more expensive but he sold me on the absolute best skimmer.

All I can say this is the best skimmer out there for a small reef.

It's in my garage sitting inside my old Red Sea 130. Wouldn't sell it for anything.
