Here's a few pics from our recent dive trip to Belize. Note, most of these pics (all the underwater ones) were screen captures from my GoPro so I apologize for the quality.

wow, this is fantastic. I regularly go Snorkeling in Hawaii and I always enjoyed it. But this is beyond anything I have seen. Enjoy man

It was fun, but I definitely prefer Pacific diving. Hawaii has excellent diving and Micronesia is just spectacular.

The annoying thing was the weather. It got a little windy the day we arrived so they shut down diving. We were there 8 days and only got two days of diving in... I Ab Dive in NorCal so a little wind and waves don't scare me.

But we managed to fill in the rest of our time checking out the Mayan Ruins, Zip Lining, visiting the Monkey River and doing a little Birding. It was a cool trip and Belize is a nice little country.

Yep, that's the one. We stayed in Hopkins, but our diving was all around South Water Caye and that's where we took our rest breaks.

Neat! I TA'ed our university's "Ecology of the Belize Barrier Reef" field course a few times. Basically taking grad students out snorkeling all day and teaching reef eco/bio and organism ID in the evenings. I know the south end patch reef like the back of my hand!

Nice Pics. I was in Ambergris Caye last fall. I really enjoyed the diving in Belize. We made the trip out to the Blue Hole, and I was more impressed with the other dives of the day then the Hole.
