Bengaii spits out everything

I have shad a Bengaii cardinal pair for years. I noticed the female was looking thin. She aggressively goes after all foods but spits out everything.

any idea what causes this? What treatment is needed?

You didn't change anything? Food is the same?

Nope, nothing has changed. Thats what is so baffling.

Try soaking the food in some garlic and another food fish get pretty excited about is roe (fish eggs) there's several fish food companies that offer it maybe it will entice the banggais to eat

I'll give garlic to try, but I feel variety of foods, and the female goes after food aggressively. She just can't keep it down. I'm concerned she has an internal parasite

You can put him in a qt and dose metroplex to the water this will kill internal parasites. Metro can be feed but if the fish isn't eating won't help plus metroplex shouldn't be dosed in a DT
