Hey guys, rumor has it that someone over here raises these guys. Is that true I am needing a few to help with my population of Aptasia.

Thanks in advance,

Rob

The Aquarium...in Knoxville Tennessee can get those guys on special order..the price is unknown but im in need of some of the Berghia Nudi's too for a strike against aiptasia..so if anyone in the area is breeding let me know

Are you new to the area/hobby? Nice to see new people.

A few of us were raising these guys, including myself. I dumped all of mine into my reef (that needs HELP!), so I don't have them anymore. Maybe someone else still has some? I want to raise them again though, as I have a lot of aiptasia to get rid of; they do have an appetite for aips...

Mine (nudis) didnt survive in my tank and I put in dozens but I also have strong/major/penductors flow in my tank and I suspect those that floated went thru the overflow and into the micron bag, 2-3 days later changing the bag must have been too much for them. I never saw one after introducing them. I've never seen an egg ring either. I cant find 6 pep shrimps either... Darn tank is jinksed...

Ummm... I aint seen it ether over the past month or so. But I've seen rabbit terds so he's gotta be in there somewhere...

I pulled 3 shrimp out of the fuge last week and put back in the display. Havent seen them since...

I'm thinking of yanking the penductors untill I set up my new tank. Stringray 4300 or 3400gph with 4 outputs shoud still be enough for a closed loop without penductors.... It didnt seem enough when I first set it up but since my tank is "broken" and kills sps, it wont hurt. I just hate to try to get them back on the loc-line if it's necessary.

Cheers!

yeah i am new to the hobby i have kept plenty of freshwater tanks but i got bored so i wanted to try to keep a reef setup tank..i knew a lady who had a 55 reef set up that she was tired of having so she gave it all to me fish, live rock..everything but she had just let the tank go it was over runned with algae and aiptasia...but yeah im looking for those Berghia Nudi's because ive heard that they do an excellent job of taking care of aiptasia as long as theirs some in their for them to eat ..so if anyone has some or know some one who has them and wouldnt mind parting with 2 or so let me know
