I had a pretty bad aiptasia problem in my tank. Basically I've had lots of problems in my current tank. I was Just admiring how far it's come on Daturday and the return pump died for good right in front of my eyes. Not a great evening. But I digress....
I've used peppermints with success in the past. But they were the Caribbean ones. Thanks to Irma, a lot of suppliers are MIA. I thought About a filefish but didn't pursue it with any confidence. Went back and forth with Bob at ABC and he was adamant about Berghia nudibranchs.
I put 6 in. Never saw them again. Wrote it off as yet another "œGOTCHA" to the Reef Hods (who ALWAYS win). Literally a month later I thought I could See a reduction. I had Some big mofos in there and the looked annoyed. Withdrawn. Wilted. After 2 months zero aiptasias. The final push was over night. I seear There were 20 nems one day. Zero the next. Success. Cully stamp of approval.
