I am thinking about buying this sump set up, but I would like to use it as a refugium too. Due to the lack of room around my fish tank area, I have to settle for something that is 24 (L) x12 (W) x 14 (H) or around that area.
A problem is I need to to either put my skimmer in or let it hang somewhere. Its an Romora AquaC Skimmer, which is about 12" from the point where it hangs/water flows out. I hate microbubbles (one of my reasons as to relocate the skimmer in the sump).
When the website mentions "This comes with a removable baffle which provides a refugium section. This also increases the water volume and depth of the sump." it doesn't seem too clear to me. Does it come with an EXTRA baffle or are the baffles in the sump moveable? How much of a water increase/depth would it add?
