Best Camera to show colors

Hi All,

Just wondering what is a good camera to get to take good quality pictures without having the T5 blue and purple lights drown out the picture and take away from the real colors. I currently just use my cell phone, so is there a setting on androids that can help with this?

If no setting on a phone would work then please suggest some good affordable cameras to take video and pictures. thanks!

You need to adjust your white balance, not necessarily get a new camera. I use a DSLR and lightroom for post processing. The part of the spectrum the lights are showing are usually not within the range of WB adjustments so you may have to manually adjust it.

You need a DSLR and be familiar with manual settings.

Lots of the newer point and shoot cameras have manual settings and white balance setting now. There is no need for a DSLR. Even my phone has enough basic manual settings and modes to take decent photos of the tank. But I get my best pics with a point and shoot tough camera, the Olympus TG-1 and use it in the tank. It's the same camera my wife uses all the time when we go snorkeling. BTW, try doing some editing after the fact. Our underwater snorkeling pics look washed out and green until we let the software do an 'Auto Levels' and then they look great!
