Ok so I've come to conclusion that I need to automate this for best success. My daily schedule is just too hectic. I do not have an apex or anything. Just looking to try and keep my levels steady. What do you have or what would you recommend?

Say what you will but I used a jebao 4 pump doser for for past 6-8 months and had zero issues with it. They are only 68.99 on amazon prime.

I also use the Jebao with good results.

They're not cheap, but worth every penny and very precise. GHL Doser 2 SA (they have a newer version v2.1). If you're keeping sps, then I would spend the extra cash on reliability, dependability and quality.
Just my two pennies.

I ran the bmt-01 with zero issues for two years before I took the tank down. Depending how much your tank consumes daily you might want to consider calcium reactor.

I was scared to admit it..... but yes... jebao here to !!

I am in a market for a doser as well, Im looking at the Jebao's. But I'm surprised the 2 channel is more expensive than the 4 channel

Im leaning towards on just two heads because I only dose B-ionic A and B. I know its good to have spares, but I dont have space for 4 channels.

I've been reading reviews, and the Jebao have caught my attention. If you get a working unit, it's a score. And if you get a faulty one, I've heard (read) that the supplier's customer service are really good.

I've been looking into the coral box wf04. It's a Wi-Fi app controlled doser with 4 heads. And supposedly if you buy from reefbreeders, it has a 12mon guarantee.

Thanks everyone. I'll probably got with the Jebao so I can put the rest of the money into my 2 step and anti lag (m0nkie)

The doser can be mounted outside the stand and even in back of it. Going with the 4 is good because you end up with 2 spare motors and 3 spare heads (extra head in the box).

I havent thought about mounting it outside., hmmm you are right, It might just work, especially for price stand point (its a no brainer).

Do you know if the orientation of the input/output can be changed? Like from pointing downwards to the sides by twisting the head 90 degrees?

The heads are mounted with Snap points that cannot be change. So there is only one way to mount it unfortunately. One advice I would give is to always have the doser higher than the sump and the dosing containers to prevent a siphon accident from ever occuring.

Oh I see. I might add a check valve on each line to be safe when I get one, because I have an AIO tank and don't have a sump. I hope it doesn't create bubbles in the lines though :(

Maybe its just me but I wouldn't trust thousands of dollars in corals to a 90 dollar jebao dosing pump.

Personally I would recommend the GHL after using it for a few years.
