Just wanting to get multiple opinions on what the best gauge/solenoid is for a calcium reactor. I have heard that reef octopus is a good one for the money and I have read that aquaticlife makes a good one. Anyway Im just trying to research them before I buy one for my new reactor( Thanks Bill !!)

I have a Milwaukee set. they work well. just make sure the ones you get have the solenoid on them and have a detailed low pressure gauge.

The Aquarium plants Electronic ones are very good also, I think Andy has one if i remember right. Maybe he can chime in on it and how it has worked out.

+1 these things are fn awesome. imo 10 times better than the solonoid style. if im not mistaken you can geet the non lcd version for like 100$ i love mine! way way way easier and super accurate and super reliable, hands down the best and no doubt the easiest.

aquarium plants.com..the best..no solenoid to have to keep adjusting or wear out as it is electronically controlled..and a 3year warranty...works awesome.

ok, can I redo my earlier post. I googled that and HOLY COW THAT IS SWEEEET!!!! I may just have to get one of those boxes myself for my regulator.

Also just want to let you know. I found a pretty darn good deal on a 10lb Co2 tank. AL Compressed Gas in nashville sells them new for 85 bucks and 15 for a refill.

thats the rate I pay,..the outfit on lebanon rd not far from spence lane. just make sure you get beverage grade gas.
