whats the best glass scraper to buy and not scratch the glass?
will a metal razor 4 inch be a bad idea? is there a quality scraper that is used amoung most?

I use one of those kent marine scrapers and works like a charm, or just a razor blade from home depot, but I recommend the kent marine because it works and its safe, no worries about cutting your self.

i have a metal one but i was just nervous about getting fine scratches into it. i guess it ll be okay to use. ill only use a 4 inch brand new blade and hope for the best

I just use my krogers card It works great even on stubborn coralline algae and since its plastic there's no worry of scratching.

be careful and don't cut the clue out of the corners of your tank with the metal scraper or razor blades.

Grocery chain store. It is just a plastic card.

I've used a single edge blade from HD for years - new one every time. they also have a plastice holder for them so there is something to hold on to besides ouch the blade

I use a combo of things. Mag float with that algea pad in btwn the glass and it, and a kent scraper metal one and a kent plastic one, and razor blades when i clean at the very bottom near the sand.

I use the metal ones and they are great. BUT as mentioned, be careful to not cut the silicone. One thing you might want to do is have two metal ones. One with a short handle to get in the corners and one with a long handle for the front of the tank.

Don't risk using a razor blade!

i use my wife, she loves the mag-float, thinks its the best thing since buttered bread!

hey honey! you missed a spot by the overflow... no, the other side.

sort of like razors but very thin they work great!!! one pass and it takes off the hard to get algae. You do need to be careful near the silcone as it will cut it up quite easily
