4 foot 120g tank. Which light(s) would you go with: K3, Maxspect or AI's?

Where would purchase the light(s) from. I'm tired of researching aimlessly every night and just NEED help. I'm overwhelmed.

Hey I am actually building a 4ft 120. I ordered 4 AI sol blues a few weeks ago. I should have them soon. I did alot of research before I went this route and I just came to the conclusion that they were the best choice for me. I work at a petstore in sulphur La and have access to all of the top brands. I had the chance to go look at several brands in action on tanks and The AI just blew the competition out of the water. They arent cheap but you get what you pay for. well I hope this helps message me if i can help at all

For my 4', 75g. I went with 3 AI Sols and I am very happy so far. I researched them all for months but still felt like I was throwing the dice. It is a tough descision. What tipped me to the AI's was that I got a chance to see them in person, play with the controller, and examine the corals that the owner kept under them for about half a year. Do you know anyone who uses LED lighting? My only other advice is to go with a major brand or DIY. It is a big cost and you don't want to have to buy twice.

Do you really need 3 for a 4 foot tank? People around here are using one Sol Blue (which seems to be the color/model of choice, by the way) for every two feet of tank. One guy has two over a 5 foot tank and is still only running at 45% output!!!!

I just saw a pair of Sunbrite fixtures today live and in person over a 4 foot tank and it is VERY bright! It is less $ than the AI and good par. You don't turn it down and mount it 2 feet above the tank like AI to avoid bleaching as they seem to have massive par, but these thinks are a lot less coin and seem to do the job.

A friend of mine was telling me that he spoke with someone from an online vendor and he said that even 3 modules are good for a 6' tank.

Because my 90gal is a bowfront, I went with 4 AI SOl Blu mounted the conventional way. That way I can jog the middle two forward. I get awesome coverage and after 4wks I'm running at less than 50%. Love these things.
