Best Lighting Question

If you had to choose the best lighting for healthy Zoos, what would it be. I have combo 2T'5s and two 175 MH on a 70 gallon
deep tank and Im thinking I did not need to go with the MH's.

Can one of you expert beginners advise your thoughts/experiences,

Use both. Thats a good amount of light for a 70gal.

Yeah... Both.

I have a 70 tall as well (36x30x16 I believe) with a 250w XM10k, two Actinic T5's, and 2 96w PC's (1 50/50 and 1 actinic). Zoo growth is good even at the bottom.

I'm going to up it to 400w HM though with a 14k bulb for equal par with more blue. That should keep my Zoa's from browning up.

How many hours oh the MH do you think ?

Anywhere from 7-11 hrs should be fine with an hour or more of actinics only on both ends.
