Just finished preparing water for my last water change, I hope everyone keeps safe and that this storm doesn't hit us directly. I ordered some solar powered air pumps and some battery operated air pumps, If we don't lose power in my house these items will be available to anyone in need after it's safe to go out, I also have a generator and will have ro and salt water ready, be safe everyone.

Sending positive thoughts! I've been following closely since most of our family still lives down there.

Good advice in this other thread, if you haven't already checked it out. It's probably not too late to overnight ship from Amazon if local stores are sold out.

Btw for those of us staying and that have older generators, take the time to test them with a load prior to the storm, my friend had a generator that would turn on but once he connected anything on it it will shut off, so play it safe and do a load test don't just rely on the device turning on.

Yeap were hoping so located in cape coral. Giving the tank one last cheers for my tank... I know most of my sps will be gone by the end of the week. Wish us luck! ;\

Best of luck to all in the hurricane!

Hope all are well, lost 2 fish and a shrimp, been without power since 8pm. Remaining fish are at surface. I had bought 2 pumps last year and had tested them. This year neither one worked. I believe the tank is doomed

Roger, sorry for your loss. Luckily, my house in Weston didn't lose any power during the storm. My office tank also survived since no power loss in the building either. Let me know if I can be any help.

I half my fish and a few prized acro colonies and I'm sure more to come. Sucks

I only lost a few fish mostly because they were in the qt tank nothing died in the main display
