Best power compact combo?

I am about to get new bulbs, currently I have 1 10k/actinic bulb and one dual 6700k bulb because they came with the tank when we bought it.

I was planning on getting 1 dual actinic and 1 dual 10k, is that probably the best light color combo?

I like the current dual daylight and dual actinic, only problem is who knows how much longer PC bulbs will be produced, coralife and current I believe have discontinued all their PC fixtures, so may be only matter of time before the bulbs are done too. Lastly power compacts only hold their color for about 3-5 months, after that they get pretty yellow.

You may want ro consider putting the $ you were going to spend on bulbs towards a newer technology that will be around for awhile such as T5, or even LED or a hybrid.

Yes! That is exactly what I have run for the past 6 years or so.

UVL PC-R's they have the built in reflectors. I have the actinic white/super actinic combo bulb. awesome.
