Thats a nice size AT Scuzy. just curious what was the total days of qt period and if u dont mind where did you get him from ? thanks

Almost 5
Weeks for me. I got him from a lfs. It got ich showing first few days then I got cupramine in it and the visible signs of ich started to disappear. It's literally covered at one point. It's been spotless for almost 4 weeks and hasn't scrape the pvc. This is to hoping alk ich has been killed off.

I am also hoping for you that the ich is gone and won't ever reappear! The Achilles is my favorite tang but I won't be trying another one until I upgrade my tank again, I don't think that a 220g is big enough IMO but I know of plenty who successfully keep them in smaller tanks

Very nice AT Scuzy..
Did you also treat for worms.flukes Prazipro? Thanks..

What happen to yours dmorty?

Got ich of course! I was able to catch and put the AT in a treatment tank and successfully treat the ich but was unable to get the tan to eat while treating. I literally was awakened by "something" in the early morning and went to check on my little guy and he had passed... It was heartbreaking

Yes with cupramine but the temp fluctuated one day 3.5 degrees before my AC was on in my home all of the time so it was totally my fault so a very tough learning lesson for me. I loved that fish and hated to watch the turn of events unfold. This one will hurt for a long time

Yes this is also a fact, when my previous 125g was setup not all of the fish from the 125g to a 180g while the 220g was setup were properly QTed also a poor error on my part when setting up the 125g in the first place. There is without question ich in my DT ,although all fish show no signs of it. I'm seriously considering setting up my 125g and 75g and treating all of my current fish and leaving the DT fallow for 10 wks to rid the tank of ich

I just went through this painful process. I lost a few good fish but in the end I think it's the best approach.
