"Best" reasonably-priced skimmer...?

I know this is completely subjective...

But was wondering what everyone's opinion is on the "best" "reasonably-priced" protein skimmer...?

From what I am reading - I like the Vertex 180i - but not sure $500 would be considered "reasonably-priced"...

Define reasonably priced and what size DT and bio load

Well, exactly my point... lol

Some might think the $1,500 skimmers are "reasonably priced" for what they do.

I, myself, am looking at a skimmer for a 150 gallon mixed reef with an emphasis on SPS (Acropora corals) and a "reasonably" (again, lol) heavier-ish... bio fish load...

You can't beat LifeReef for it's skim production, ease of use, hands-off reliability, build quality and warranty, made in America buy a long time hobbyist.
It may not be the least expensive skimmer out there but it's very fairly priced and a very good value.

Agreed on Life Reef, they are amazing skimmers. For a contemporary skimmer in the 200-400g size almost any built with the Askoll1500 (Laguna/RedD. etc) pump will do really well. SWC and some others use this pump. Good Luck!

Since you're the one buying the skimmer for your system, what's your definition of reasonably priced.
