Best recirc skimmer!!!!

my ex1 was very well packaged and shipped super fast from petorama as well!

is is a great skimmer, i have owned the rs180 as well and my father in law owns the ex3. i would take the das anyday

My coralife 220 was acting weird for a while. It usually drops the bubble's down the tube and doesnt skim well if it loses some water due to evaporation, but the other day it was ramping up and I couldnt get it to stay adjusting for anything. Took it apart and the shaft was broke. The size of the ceramic shaft in them has a very small diameter compared to others I've seen and with the rough start on the pumps it no wonder they break. I'm thinking about putting a Stainless steel one in it. And maybe switching all together when I get my sump up and running If it doesnt work a little better with a constant water level.

i know that the er rs and bm are not recircs but they are the two other skimmers im looking at. and the reason i am concerend with aknockoff is because i followed thread upon thread with the coralife super skimer and the das hype seems the same. ( listed as great bang for your buck). i think a tank pic or two should follow anyones skimer staments show us how good it works. :D

Well there is a big difference. We are talking about ex1 $300, ex2 $450, and ex3 $700 skimmer here. Not a budget skimmer like the coralife....

Check out the DAS skimmer club, there are a lot pics in there. Mine are on the 3nd page.
