Best return pump flow deflector/wavemaker?

There are now a handful of options for automatically deflecting the flow from a return pump to make more random currents. I'm trying to decide which one I want to screw onto my 300 gph maxi-jet 1200. Does anyone have any opinion on the matter? Here are a few options that are available at marinedepot.com:

I just have experience with the hydor flo. It stops spinning after about 1 to 2 weeks. I bought a bunch and tried them. I was going to do a 4-way closed loop and run them on each return. It was a dismal failure.
