I think Nickelback should be an option for best rock, because it would be interesting to see who the sadomasochists are, but from the available options I chose Pukani because of the porosity.
I tried to order this last summer. I'm not sure what the deal was but I was redirected to reefcleaners and was given the 50lb/$85. Reef cleaners rock is nice and porous and I got a few pieces that I specially requested. I can't say enough good things.best dry rock.. No phosphates/super clean,etc...

If anyone has any pictures of their tanks with the rocks mentioned above I would love to see them!
I really think live rock is the way to go..I have done both and the dry rock takes forever to purple up. Plus it lacks diversity. I would go with Tampa Bay saltwater
I had two replies saying they couldn't grow coral one on reefcleaners but had it everywhere else in the tank.
Looks like his phone auto corrected coralline to coral one. If the rock leaks phosphate then coralline won't grow on it.Disregard anything and everything these people have to say. Saying coral won't grow because of the type of rock it is attached to is a sure sign of not knowing what the heck they are talking about lol. :blown:
Hah, makes more sense now. I removed my response.Looks like his phone auto corrected coralline to coral one. If the rock leaks phosphate then coralline won't grow on it.
