best "show fish" in a 90g?

Just don't know what i would like to have as a last addition. Two many choices out there

EDIT: on a side note, is a 90g considered large enough to sustain a mandarin? About 140lbs or more of live rock in two large piles

Agreed. The mandarin will be made a meal out of by one of the two eels.

When you get a tank think about the type of fish you want fist. Then go about adding them. If you want a easy going tank think about all of the kinds of fish you want then look them up. Change the plan if and or when needed. I have 3 tanks each is its own type. Peaceful, Small fish, Mean A Hole by himself. Dont waste the money and put that poor fish through hell. I think what you have is fine if its working. I would just stick with what you have. Manarin only need a min of 30 gal. your 90 is big enough but if you feel the need to have one start up a small tank for it.

I thought mandarins were generally left alone by the pred fish. I'll pass on it.

How about a Mystery Wrasse. Reef safe but will eat your shrimp if you have any.

some things it is only a matter of time. I have heard of well feed eels leaving other fish alone but it does seem like a ticking time bomb. How long have you had them all together and what was added first to last? and how big is what? and a 6 line is also in danger. anything short of a larger fish like a Harlequin Basslet. like it was said above shrimp will be eaten. I have a Harlequin Basslet but it is just him in his own tank. other than some snails and crabs. any fish smaller than the basslet is at extream risk of attack.

Going on 2 months of the current combination. 7months of same combo minus eel, and the I've had the clown and 6line for over 1.5 years originally being in a 29g.

Not a chance of the eel taking any of those fish right now, he is just to small for them. Still got everything to set up my 55g quickly if I need too. He did take out a very small watchman goby shortly after being added but that I believe was due to hunger. I had a hard time figuring out how much to feed while researching and I now simply just feed as often as he'll take it and have seen 0 aggression towards anything else. Probably will be doing a separate 75-110Tall fowlr in a few months anyways. Snowflakes are typically crustacean eaters in the wild, not fisht and he does take an occasional pep. shrimp but leaves the cleaner alone which isn't shocking given cleaner shrimp are naturally symbiotic with a variety of eels.

Or get rid of the small fish and look for a super nice Rhinopias frondosa (altho the frondosa will get rid of them for you eventually):
