I am looking for a few good sites to buy a good "ultra" grade crocea. I have bought corals off line and have seen several sites that have clams, but are there any with a big good selection of clams that anyone would recommend??? I am looking for a good Green 4" T. Crocea. also, do anyoneknow that if the site has ORA corals if they will order ORA clams???? Thanks everyone.

Normally I'd agree but...... OUCH!! Did you check out the shipping? $55 clams to ship a clam?

You try and ship a big bag of water, and see how much it costs you. I dont know why people expect the vendor to just eat that cost.

Mi biggest complaint about calsm direct is that they sell out their clams so fast, unless your waiting, ready to snipe, you lose.

What exactly is the benefit of an ORA clam?

I didn't suggest they eat the shipping cost. But for reference, there is an on-line vendor who sells and ships clams from California for 39 bucks! Just sayin'.

Dont be fooled, dude. I can sell you a $50 item for $100 with free shipping, or sell you a $50 item for $50, and chareg you $50 for the shipping. You're kinda comparing apples and oranges.

Clams Direct is known to have healthy colorful quality clams, and thats what people buy. Barry could easily "hide" that shipping chanrge, but I prefer to know exactly what I'm paying for what.

Not trying to sound aggressive, but if shipping cost is the defining characteristic of how you buy livestock, you'll probably run into some problems. Good luck.

I've got clams from fagglereef before. if you looking for a good price that's the way to go but if you want to see the clam you will be getting I also would recommend clamsdirect. pacific east also has some good deals on clams it worth a look.

I've used both clamsdirect and fraggle reef and had excellent customer service and high quality livestock from both. FWIW, I have about a dozen clams in my tank.

I got two clams from clams direct ( was the same shipping cost ) and I was very pleased with the whole experience. The packaging was great and the clams too. Liked the follow up email a couple of days after they arrived.

if you spend over 200 bucks at fragglereef it is free shipping. i have seen several clams from them and they are great stuff. i have one super nice crocea from them. but you do see what you get with clams direct... so if you are looking for that one particular clam clams direct is the way to go.
