Best skimmer for under $300?..

I am in the process of picking out a skimmer as well. Right now I am leaning very heavily towards to Octopus Extreme 160, you could always bump up to the 200. I hear very good things about these skimmers.
 
take a look at the premium aquatics forum, jeremy did a comparison with the vertex in-100 vs atb 840. $200 vs $650.

Where are the results on the website. Couldn't find them.
 
I have the vertex 100 gen 1 and it is awesome!!!!! Very well made. Easy to adjust, and low maintance. I don't wan t to mess with mesh!!! Get it you will love it!!
 
vertex in180. kick a$$ skimmer. you will definately not be dissapointed. i have one on my 90.
 
Check out the bubble magus skimmers. I've been running on on my 90 with 35 sump for over 6 months now it is a champ. Great design and it is very compact. I highly recommend this based on owning it myself. Very quiet and consistent skimming.
