Best tanks from around the world.

Check out the sps tank of the creaters of Zeovit, amazing I must say. Its 180x180x60cm with about 30 t5 bulbs running. These are the guys from Zeovit so they really know what they doing. I saw some pics on Practical Fish keeping, sorry me dont know how to post pics.

That was my old tank!

I was just browsing this thread for some inspiration after a hiatus from the hobby. I was surprised when I saw my old tank featured as it's a long time since I last looked at any photographs.

I've gotta say there are some amazing tanks in this thread. Amazing colors too nowadays.

Nice to see you still around Simon. Your tank has always been an inspiration for me. I love the size of your corals and your low profile rock work. It's very please to the eyes.

It's the same tank just emptied and refilled with fresh saltwater, sand etc...

I moved house about 5 years ago, got married, kids etc. I fragged most of the my tank and gave them away before moving house but ended up loosing most of my stock during the move. It was a bit disheartening and although I set the tank up after the move it just ticked over with a few fish a corals for the last 4 years. It was only a few months ago when I realized it was a lost cause to try and turn around the tank and decided to start afresh.

Tank was taken down due to a chiller leak that led to floor joists giving way. I was the photographer, and not a very good one. Pics don't really do it justice. Best tank I have ever seen in person.

What does anyone think about the difference between the tanks with the pastel colors vs. the ones with the more intense colors? Do you have a preference? Is it lighting that makes the difference or ULNS or some other anomaly?
 
Those tanks are just amazing. What really surprises me is, sooo many SPS dominated tanks and sooo many with angelfish in them... wow
