Best tanks from around the world.

What do you mean fish, it's a coral tank!. :lol2:

I think he has a few, mainly anthias, but not a huge number!.......It must be tricky keeping corals this colour with minimal fish feedings. I'd guess there are several zeo supps going in, to keep the corals thriving.

I suppose less fish poop means less tank cleaning. It looks a pretty clean tank from here.

Vladis' reef is no joke ... Check out his thread if youd like to see alot of nice SPS photos !

Vladis. I commend you for putting together such a beautiful SPS system, especially in a country/region of the World where it is very difficult source quality corals, it proves to show your true passion and determination :)

id like to know basic parameters on some of these tanks as far as what they keep the ca, alk, mg levels at. I'm jealous to say the least!

sea witch1. In many years Ive yet to come across that beautiful Italian SPS system ... Is that maintained by Andrea Ciceri ? Also, if you are knowledgable on the topic, would you please comment on the system components and/or direct where they can be found ?

Moser. Nice example there from JERRATHI, thank you for sharing :) Would you comment on system components, if you are knowledgable, as well ...

I am simply an observer. This pic was posted earlier in the thread and the aqua blue/green sps in the center caught my eye and I could not stop looking at it....So my friend I personally have no info to offer....( however, there were more details on the original post) sorry...
Good luck to you and your reef....

You guys need to learn to differentiate between tanks that have "placed" colonies for single photo shots and tanks that have long term histories. Both are beautiful and have value, but they have VERY different philosophies behind them.

Personally, I feel that tanks built for photo shots are harming our hobby, but that's just one guys opinion.

My tank is going strong after a decade and every coral in it came from tiny frags.

Lovely tank, Joe.
Which tanks are you referring to when you comment about placed corals versus grown out?.

Another nice one I came across...
