If your saltwater is stored outside/garage without heater then it might get cold overnight and changing in the morning can mildly shock species(may lower your tank temp suddenly). If you store it outside, then evening may be better because your water would have warmed up by then. I store 500 gallons of saltwater outside. Thinking of storing 100 gallons inrside with heater and after that point it really doesn't matter when you change it.
May be change it after feeding the fish. May be they poop a lot immediately after eating and water change after that may export more waste? just a thought.
