Best way to detach zoa's from rock?

Get a dremel, screwdriver, and a razorblade. dremel through the rock under the frag you want to cut off but not all the way. Use a razor blade to cut the frag from the main colony. then stick the screwdriver in the slot you cut with the dremel and pop it off. Usually works well for me.

or glue several small pieces of liverock within the colony. Over time the zoas will grow up onto the rock and you can then easily remove them as a complete frag.
