Best way to get clown gobies to eat?

I have a yellow and green clown goby in QT. The yellow will chase and eat brine shrimp occasionally but that seems to be it. The green clown goby runs around but doesnt seem like its interested in food. Ive mainly tried brine shrimp that are alive but today I added this, "Zoo Med 78066 Can O' Cyclops, 3.2 oz" that i got from Amazon. Fresh can. Neither seems interested in this at all. So much for a miracle food. Any ideas?

I'm sure it's finding something to eat... pods, etc. I had one for a while and never paid attention to whether or not it was eating. It picked at coral quite a bit...

i would start with live food first if flakes and frozen don't work. if that don't work then roe. if that don't work, your fishes will go straight to hell.

So I got fed up and trapped the the GCG in a floating fish trap (one you use to closely supervise them). Then I dumped in a ton of live brines and closed it off so only it will have access to these guys. I saw him eat 3 but thats its. I came back today and most were gone so I assume he ate them. Still looks pretty thin. I replaced with new brines and they are just swimming everywhere, bumping into him, and he doesnt react much. is this normal?

I do have NLS Ick shield in the water, and about a week ago I added prazipro which i know is an appetite suppressant. I took that out of the water after the 5 days, and now its just NLS Ick shield in the water.

Be careful with clown gobies...had one (yellow)destroy an sps colony...one of my favorite fish, but ime not reef safe...

Its ok dont have any SPS but Id love for this guy to fatten up some. What foods do you recommend for the GCG or YCG??

No I can't say they only eat Bbs . But they are hard to resist when they move around . They have a better nutritional profile when newly hatched thus allowing fattening.

I've had a few over the years, they each had to be weaned onto frozen food by first feeding live newly hatched brine shrimp.

Try mysis, brine...ive never had an issue with clown hobies eating...maybe parameters are off?

Parameters should be fine, i recently changed the water. I think its the prazipro and NLS ick shield in the water, definitely slowed their appetite. And Ive seen a coral beauty scratching after 12 hours of the prazipro in the water so theres definitely flukes in the water. It may be bothering them. So far I just keep with the brine and hoping they eatem up. The YCG has sucha small mouth that when I add mysis in there (frozen) it can barely get a piece in the mouth before spitting it out. Its too big. How do you guys deal with their tiny mouths?

Think twice or more about keeping clown goby in a SPS tank.
Clown Gobies will clear a patch of tissue off an Acropora to lay their eggs. This will/may cause your Acropora to die off. This happened in my tank. I have to remove the colony from the rock structure to get rid of my clown goby.

You can always chop it up . When I make my own shrimp/scallop/cod mix, everything goes in a blender . Pulse until right size adding water so that it doesn't become mush.

I take it you have a blender especially for this? No way my wife would let me use the vitamix to blend shrimp bits. We use that daily for smoothies.
