best way to halt button polyps

I have a problem with green buttons . they are starting to overtake a small frag of blue zoa that can't be moved.
i have used "tropic marin elimi-aiptas" with much sucsess against my aptasia .would it be safe to knock back the buttons? or what ideas does anybody/everybody else have? thanks......Ray

I would either use the "tropic marin elimi-aiptas" or frag them off with a razor. good luck.

I thought about this problem and I think fragging with a razor would work.

I would cut them off w/ a razor and then w/ a stiff brush scrub off what's left of the base so they don't grow back.Don't forget eye protection and gloves!
