Best way to kill a dying coral

My Elegance coral is dying, with no hope of recovery. I am wondering is there anything I can do to kill it off quickly so it isnt polluting my tank? This is what it looks like should you be in doubt that it has had it:

I just didnt want to take it out and have it slowly die in the bin if I could help it. I took it out anyway, and i'm glad I did because it smelled horrible!
