Best way to mount LEDS in a canopy

I bought 2 Hydra 26's that are currently sitting on my glass for evaporation. I want to mount them to get rid of the spotlight effect + reduce shadow and give more spread throughout my tank. Im looking into some railing but what have you guys done for mounting to the top of the canopy or in it.

Get some aluminum bars or L brackets or something along those lines. Drill holes in them and your good to go.

None in paticular. I just used some square aluminum tube from hardware store.

Yea but youll pay a premium for those when you can make your own for 10-15 bucks very easily.
