Better Bulkheads

I ordered an overflow and return kit from Glass Holes. Everything except for the bulkheads is very nice quality. The bulkheads are made by Spears but they don't inspire me with confidence. The threads look like they were machined twice and the seams from the plastic molds are noticeably off.

Is this normal for Spears bulkheads? Is there a better brand I should get? The only other brand that seems to be locally available is the Lifegard Aquatics bulkheads. Are they good? Better than Spears?

Thanks,
Harry

The standard ABS bulkheads are usually fine. It's possible to have a bad one of course. Sch80 bulkheads are nice, but unnecessary, and require a bigger hole for the nominal pipe size. I would inquire with GHoles.

Go to a place that sells spa and Pool supplies . Sometimes plumber supply places like Ferguson or here Plumbers supply . they are also cheaper then from a "aquarium shop"
everything re marketed for reef tanks are way over priced usually.
