Beware of Saltwaterfish.com ... interesting reading

Just saw this on the CORA forums. Thought it might help some of us make a decision on placing an order there. I am not saying they are bad or good but form your own opinions after reading THIS STORY from a CORA member.

I think I will avoid placing an order through them anytime soon.

Good find Kevin, I'd say of the maybe 10 fish I've ever ordered from them, only 2 survived more than 2-3 days, even though QT'd, acclimated well, etc.. . I didn't even bother with the bureaucracy of tangled return policies.

They do have the deck stacked against you.

However, I lost only 1 fish out of the 10 I ordered and all of the inverts survived as well.

Everything was going just hippy skippy, that is until the tank sitter didn't call me to let me know that tank # 3 had an electrical shut down issue during my vacation in San Fran / Nappa this past Sept.

There is a creative method for getting back at these folks however to get the underhanded an underhanded and truley devious scheme would be required. And since we are not all with the IRS or are lawyers we cannot resort to such methods.

Oh well.
