I have dealt directly with Jeff as well and Jeff was also the one that said that they would not take it back. I cannot prove that but that is what I was told. So that lays that to rest!

Dan along with Jeff and Dorthey were the originals at Beyond the Reef. Dan has been gone for awhile now.

If you deal with Jeff or Dorthey you will be fine, that is if you can find them there. The other people that are in the store appear to be the new co-owners. They really don't know jack and are a joke.

The one guy that is there who calls everybody boss is scary, only ex-cons call people boss. Somehow these clowns bought into the business and are really running it down. I don't buy anything there either anymore because of some bad experiences.

It's simple take care of your customers or lose them, period!

There are other reefers- Sea Schoor and Oceans Floor stand out who are hands on and take care of their customers. To me it is worth the extra time and gas to visit and buy from them.
