My 2 1/2 inch long blenny just died out of nowhere today. He had him about 6 weeks. He spent 4 weeks in my QT, and was doing awsome in my DT. Eating like a pig, very lively just an awsome fish. I go in this afternoon, and he is dead at the bottom of the tank. Literally 4 hours ago he was fine. There are three other fish in the tank, two ocillaris clowns (one 1 + inches one 1 1/2 inches) and a linespot flasher wrasse, all moving around like nothing. I did do a water change today, but that is no big deal. All water parameters are 100% good. I did see him try and hide inside a powerhead once, but he died as far away from a powerhead as you could be in the tank. He did have some white discoloration (not raised like ick or anything just bleeched out) around his neck area. Hard to tell why since the clean up crew was already hard at work.
Any ideas?
